I was lucky enough to hear my week old Strad model cello played at the world premier of a Song Cycle from the poetry of Wendell Berry, by the composer Clint Borzoni. This was a very special event, held in the one time home of photographer Ansel Adams. The house has views of the Golden Gate and the studio makes a wonderful, intimate recital hall. After the concert Erik wanted to go back and play facing the big window, just to remember the time and place.
