I’m returning to my roots with this classic Ruggieri model.  I’ve probably made more of these willow-back Ruggieris than any other.  It started over 30 years ago at Bein and Fushi, when I helped on a extensive restoration of a poplar Ruggieri.  I loved the rustic look of the poplar, the accomplished but relaxed workmanship. The generous, colorful sound couldn’t be beaten, and I’ve been making them ever since.
