Notes:

There are a lot of classic cellos made of totally plain willow or poplar, they can be very beautiful with a lot of visual interest coming from the effect of age and wear on the wood and varnish. With no high-flamed maple or dark, thick varnish to hide behind, copying one of these cellos and making it visually engaging is an exciting challenge.
