Violin Works Postcard

$1.00

I build my instruments to last hundreds of years. I chose cast iron as the material for this oversized cello, both for its durability and for its tonal qualities. The bolted construction and the pressure relief plate were necessary modifications to help withstand the tremendous sound production. This card will be suitable for any string player interested in the pinnacles of violin development. ( Homage to Lewis Hine's immortal 1920 image “steam fitter”)
